How we help

Who it’s for: drivers, passengers and pedestrians injured in a car accident in Delaware, including multiple-vehicle crashes, motorcycle accidents, rollovers, and crashes with trucks and commercial vehicles. Depending on your goals, we negotiate a settlement, use mediation, or file a lawsuit.

The at-fault driver’s insurer

We present your claim and handle the negotiation.

Uninsured and underinsured drivers

Claims under your own policy when the other driver’s coverage falls short.

Building your claim

Medical records, bills and proof of lost income, gathered and organized.

Going to court if needed

Filing suit in Delaware when a fair settlement is not offered.

How fees work

We handle auto accident cases on a contingency fee basis, and your initial consultation is free. If there is no recovery, you owe no attorney’s fee. You may still be responsible for case costs and expenses, as explained in your written fee agreement.

A checklist to keep

Right after an accident

Get medical care, even if you feel fine.

Call the police and note the report number.

Photograph the vehicles, the scene and your injuries.

Exchange insurance information with the other driver.

Talk to a lawyer before giving a recorded statement to the other driver’s insurer.

Keep every bill, receipt and record of missed work.

Delaware generally allows two years to file an injury lawsuit. Don’t wait. Evidence is easier to gather early.

Good to know

Common questions

Who pays my medical bills right after the accident?

In Delaware, Personal Injury Protection (PIP) coverage generally pays medical bills and lost wages first, regardless of who caused the accident. Which policy pays depends on whether you were a driver, passenger or pedestrian. We can explain how PIP affects your case, but we do not file PIP claims.

Should I talk to the other driver’s insurance company?

Be careful. Their adjuster works for the other driver. Talk with a lawyer before giving a recorded statement or signing anything.

What is my case worth?

It depends on your injuries, treatment and the insurance coverage involved. We review it with you at your free consultation.
